Gillespie County Jail Visitation and Services
Onsite visitation is free of charge at the Gillespie County Jail but requires an appointment through the NCIC website. Visitors must have a valid state ID. No one under 17 may visit unless accompanied by a guardian. Jail staff reserves the right to deny visitation if conduct rules are not met.
Visitation hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Remote visitation is also available through NCIC at a rate of $0.30 per minute. The inmate can pay if funds are available on their account. Messaging services are also available through the NCIC system for an additional fee.
For cash bonds, the full amount must be paid by cashier's check or money order. The check must be made payable to Gillespie County Sheriff's Office. No cash, traveler's checks, or personal checks are accepted. Valid ID is required to post bond.
